The Tab (2015 – 2020)

I was a writer for The Tab Aberdeen for five years, and editor for three. I also did a two week internship at their HQ in London, writing for their national site.

During my time at The Aberdeen Tab, my stories raked in hundreds of thousands of views, and the team as a whole reached over one million page views in my time as editor.

Stylist (2020)

I spent a week working with the digital features team at Stylist in January 2020. I conducted research for the team, as well as transcribing interviews and pitching my own ideas at morning meetings.

The Times (2019)

A story I wrote for The Tab was picked up by The Times and published with my byline.

Features work experience with Red, Prima and Good Housekeeping – Hearst (2019)

In the summer of 2019 I did a two week internship with the features department at Hearst magazines Red, Prima and Good Housekeeping. During these two weeks, I wrote three articles which were featured in the August edition of Prima with my byline.

Central FM (2019)

I worked with the news team at Central FM for one week. I wrote up news bulletins to be read on air, edited sound clippings for the radio and conducted interviews independently for upcoming stories.

Morning Chores (2017 – 2018)

I wrote freelance for a lifestyle website called Morning Chores, producing two to three articles per week for them. The articles were all in a listicle form, and covered a wide range of topics from recipes to DIY and interior inspiration. 

Stirling News (2013 – 2015)

I wrote a fortnightly column for a local newspaper detailing what it was like to be in the final years of secondary education.

Stirling Observer (2014)

I undertook my first work experience in the media and communications department of Stirling Council, resulting my first byline piece in the Stirling Observer.
